Sarah Means

Director of Marketing

Sarah Means is a marketing and development professional specializing in the performing arts. She began her career at 21C Media Group, where she led communications strategy for internationally renowned artists and cultural institutions, including Daniel Barenboim, Marin Alsop, Carnegie Hall, and San Diego Symphony, among others.

Today, she works as a fundraising and marketing consultant for a range of arts organizations, including the Young People’s Chorus of New York City, Ravinia Festival, Westport Country Playhouse, and Art Song Chicago. Her work spans strategic development, fundraising, marketing, and audience engagement, with a focus on advancing the missions of innovative and artistically ambitious organizations.

Alongside this work, Sarah served as Producer for the award-winning short film Divine Intervention, which has screened at festivals across the country, including Dances with Films, NewFest, and ATX TV Festival. She is active member of multiple small theater groups in New York City, including the Blue Hill Troupe and Light Opera of New York City.
